From a family that once owned the famous CAMACHO Cigar (now owned by Davidoff), Christian Luis Eiroa created in 2012 the C.L.E. Prieto totally from Nicaraguan leaves, except for a fine Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. Having a family experience in Honduran Leaf, this Cigar created a challenge when it positioned itself in the top selling markets without relying on Honduran Tobacco.
Prieta means dark, and indeed reviewers through Neptune Cigars appreciated this Cigar, some mentioned that it will never disappoint, others commented on the chocolate and spicy flavor.
Cigars International mentioned that this medium to a full bodied Cigar has “Complex coffee and chocolate notes [which will] make this one a must-try for fans of robust blends”.
