From the oldest operating Cigar factory in Nicaragua, Joya Black Nocturno was officially introduced at the IPCPR in July 2016. Medium to full-bodied, it is the first Cigar for Joyao to have a Mexican Wrapper.
Cigar Smoke mentioned that “Construction of the JOYA Black was one of the more solid cigars I’ve smoked in 2016.”
Cigar Federation commented “I pick up tons of chocolate with trailing sweetness off the initial draw. The retro hale, by contrast, is very sweet, and airy like a marshmallow.”
David Jones mentioned through Leaf Enthusiast that “The Joya Black lit up easily and evenly, the small ring gauge definitely helping achieve that. Initially, I definitely got the bitter, slightly chalky earth notes that I have come to expect from Mexican wrapper leaf.”
