Participating at the International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailers exhibition in Las Vegas in July 2016, Litto Gomez – owner of the brand and company La Flor Dominicana – introduced a new member to his Cigar Production that started in 1994: La Flor Dominicana – Andalusian Bull.
With a silhouette of a matador on its label representing the famous sport of fighting the bull in Andalusia – Spain, this Cigar matches the chain of unusual shapes that LFD is known for (especially with the “Super Bowl” special edition). This figurado follows a size based on an old Cigar that Gomez found in Belgium.
On the first impression, the Andalusian Bull is characterized by a bold & savory flavor of leather, black cherry, caramel, and a tiny bit of pepper, which gives a special medium to full bodied smoke.
Cigars International mentioned that “the thickest part of the Bull is at the foot of the cigar, and introduces a myriad of flavors from the get-go. Caramel, leather, and a tinge of milk chocolate kick things off, with notes of sweet spice, rich red pepper, and slight citrus nuances entering the fray as the ring gauge gradually decreases.”
This Cigar will be kind of limited, but on-going production cigar, as since it was ranked 1st and the demand is exceeding the production & supply.
